Preparation steps:

1. In a pan, dry roast 1 cup of semolina (rava) over medium heat until golden and aromatic. Set aside.
2. In the same pan, melt 1/4 cup of ghee, then add 2 tablespoons of cashew nuts and 2 tablespoons of raisins. Saute until golden. Remove and set aside.
3. Boil 2 cups of water in the pan. Add a pinch of saffron strands and a few crushed cardamom pods.
4. Gradually add the roasted semolina to the boiling water, stirring continuously to avoid lumps.
5. Once the semolina absorbs the water, stir in 3/4 cup of sugar.
6. Add the sauteed nuts and raisins, mixing well. Allow it to cook until the ghee starts to release from the sides.
7. Serve warm, garnished with additional nuts if desired.
