Preparation steps:

1. Rinse 50g of rice flakes under cold water and soak them for 10 minutes.
2. In a heavy-bottomed pan, bring 1 liter of whole milk to a boil over medium heat, stirring frequently to prevent sticking.
3. Add the soaked rice flakes to the boiling milk, reducing heat to low. Cook until the flakes are tender, stirring occasionally.
4. Stir in 150g of sugar, allowing it to dissolve completely. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens to a creamy consistency.
5. Add 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom for aroma and flavor, mixing well.
6. Optionally, garnish with toasted cashews and raisins. Serve warm.
