Preparation steps:

1. In a bowl, mix 2 cups all-purpose flour, 2 tablespoons yogurt, 1 teaspoon salt, and water to form a soft dough. Cover, rest for 2 hours.
2. Soak 1 cup dried chickpeas overnight. Boil until tender.
3. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in a pan. Saute 1 chopped onion, 2 minced garlic cloves, and 1-inch ginger. Add 2 chopped tomatoes, 1 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon coriander powder, ½ teaspoon turmeric, and 1 teaspoon garam masala. Cook until fragrant.
4. Add cooked chickpeas, salt, and 1 cup water to the masala. Simmer for 20 minutes.
5. Divide dough into portions, roll out circles. Deep fry in hot oil until golden and puffed.
6. Plate chickpeas with bhature, garnish with coriander.
