Preparation steps:

1. Boil 2 large potatoes until tender, mash smoothly.
2. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of oil. Saute 1 finely chopped onion until translucent.
3. Add 1 teaspoon of ginger-garlic paste, saute for another minute.
4. Stir in 1/2 cup of finely chopped carrots and 1/2 cup of peas. Cook until soft.
5. Mix in 1 teaspoon each of cumin powder, coriander powder, garam masala, and salt. Cook briefly.
6. Combine the vegetable mix with mashed potatoes. Add 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs for binding.
7. Shape into small patties.
8. Coat each patty with additional breadcrumbs.
9. Heat oil in a pan and shallow fry patties until golden brown on each side.
10. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
