Preparation steps:

1. Boil 1 liter of milk, then curdle it using 2 tablespoons of lemon juice.
2. Strain the curdled milk through a muslin cloth to obtain chhena. Rinse with cold water, and squeeze out excess moisture.
3. Knead the chhena for 5-7 minutes until smooth.
4. Add 5 tablespoons of powdered sugar and a pinch of cardamom powder.
5. Cook the mixture on low heat for 5 minutes, stirring continuously.
6. Shape into small rounds or desired forms.
7. Garnish with chopped pistachios or almonds.
8. Allow to cool before serving.
