Preparation steps:

1. Peel banana blossom, finely chop, and soak in water with a pinch of turmeric for 30 minutes.
2. Boil chopped banana blossom with a little salt until tender, then drain.
3. Heat oil in a pan; add cumin seeds, bay leaf, and a pinch of asafoetida.
4. Add diced potatoes; saute until golden brown.
5. Stir in grated coconut, ginger paste, and green chilies; cook for a few minutes.
6. Add boiled banana blossom, turmeric, cumin powder, and salt; mix well.
7. Pour in a little water; cover and cook until potatoes are tender.
8. Finish with a dash of garam masala and ghee; stir gently.
9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves; serve hot with rice.
