Preparation steps:

1. Boil 200g mixed sprouted lentils until tender, then drain.
2. In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons oil, saute 1 teaspoon mustard seeds until they crackle.
3. Add 1 finely chopped onion, cook until golden.
4. Stir in 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste, saute briefly.
5. Mix 2 chopped tomatoes, cook until soft.
6. Add 1 teaspoon each turmeric, red chili, and garam masala powders.
7. Blend in boiled lentils, 250ml water, and salt to taste. Simmer for 15 minutes.
8. Butter pav buns, toast lightly.
9. Garnish misal with farsan, chopped onions, cilantro, and lemon wedges.
10. Serve misal hot with toasted pav.
