Preparation steps:

1. Cook 1 cup of rice until fluffy, then cool.
2. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a pan.
3. Add 1 teaspoon mustard seeds; let them splutter.
4. Stir in 1 tablespoon chana dal and 1 tablespoon urad dal until golden.
5. Add 10-12 curry leaves, 2 dried red chilies, and saute briefly.
6. Mix in 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder.
7. Incorporate 1/4 cup peanuts; fry until golden.
8. Pour juice of 1 lemon, simmer briefly.
9. Gently fold in the cooled rice.
10. Season with salt to taste, mix well.
11. Serve warm, garnished with cilantro.
