Preparation steps:

1. Soak 1 cup of rice and 1/2 cup of urad dal in water for 4 hours.
2. Drain and blend to a smooth batter, adding water as needed. Ferment overnight.
3. For the spice paste, blend 10 dried red chilies, 1 tablespoon cumin seeds, 2 tablespoons grated coconut, and salt.
4. Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat.
