Preparation steps:

1. Pour 1 liter of full-fat milk into a saucepan. Slowly heat until it reaches 85°C (185°F), stirring occasionally.
2. Remove from heat; cool to 45°C (113°F).
3. Stir in 2 tablespoons of plain yogurt with active cultures.
4. Cover and keep in a warm spot for 6-12 hours until thickened.
5. Line a colander with cheesecloth, place over a bowl, and pour yogurt in.
6. Refrigerate and drain for 4-6 hours to desired thickness.
